3 Elements of a Cohesive Website

Similar Verbiage Having the titles of the pages mimic each other or using similar “key” phrases can be a great way to share a singular message throughout the site. One example would be using the term “Our” in each major content page title – Our History, Our Services, Our Clients, etc.

Repeating Images
While repeating a company logo on each page is often a given, you can also use other strong images to tie each part of your site together. Using a graphic that represents the personality of the brand or highlights one of its unique aspects is a smart way to create cohesiveness.

Uniform Color Scheme
One of the best ways to develop cohesiveness within a site is by utilizing a strong color scheme. This is often accomplished by selecting one overall hue with two complimentary accent colors. These color combinations can help to further enhance the message you are sending to the audience.
