5 Steps to a Better (and Quicker) Checkout Process

No matter if in a physical store or shopping online, one fact remains the same — customers don’t like waiting to checkout. The checkout process is a key element of any online store and an important one for shoppers. Having a process that takes too long can ruin a potential sale as customers get frustrated and flee to another site (often a competitor’s). To convert these visitors into lifelong clients, you must first work on designing a checkout flow that is simple, easy-to-navigate, and quick. 1. Be Upfront on Availability

Even if they have completed all the steps and are ready to hit “Complete Purchase”, a high shipping cost can make them search the web for a better deal. Be clear about shipping policies or, better yet, offer flat shipping rates.
