How to Get Your Customers to Read Your Weekly Blog Posts

  • Showcase the value of your post – cover the “why”

Next, make sure to use original, well-written content in your posts. No one wants to read a post with grammatical errors and poor writing. And copying content from another website can get you on Google’s blacklist in no time. Keep your content original by writing about what you know – your industry. Use personal stories, industry-related headlines and even “how-to” type articles to keep your posts fresh and interesting.

Lastly, add links to your post anywhere you can. In order for people to read your post they need to be able to find it. Most customers aren’t going to take the time to check on your website for the latest article. You need to remind them that they are there. Add links to your post on many different social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. You could also send out an email newsletter promoting the post or even “pin it” to your Pinterest board. The more people given an opportunity to view the post the better.
