Last month searchengineland.com in accordance with SurveyMonkey released compelling research results regarding the click behavior of consumers related to e-commerce.
The research most notably highlights two major behaviors of consumers. The first major behavior notes a significant bias towards known brands. Approximately 70% of those survey responded they are most likely to click on search engine links of known retailers. In a close second, almost 57% of consumers reported they are more likely to click on search engine links that offer “free shipping”.
